"Potty Mouth Chronicles"

"The United States of America's 250th anniversary celebration has become a hotbed of controversy, with several performers pulling out of Donald Trump's Freedom 250 concert in Washington, D.C. Amidst the chaos, rapper Freedom Williams decided to take a moment to address the elephant in the room – or rather, on his toilet seat.

The C+C Music Factory member delivered a seven-minute rant from the comfort of his bathroom, sharing his thoughts on why he and his group would be performing at the event despite not being fans of the 79-year-old president. The video, posted to the official Instagram account of C+C Music Factory on May 29, shows Freedom sitting on the toilet, looking every bit as unimpressed as one might expect.

"I know where I stand," he began, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I know who the f--k I am." He went on to explain that his agent didn't mention Trump before booking the event, and despite having received an influx of calls and messages from friends questioning why he would agree to perform at an event associated with Trump, Freedom maintained that he doesn't "give a f--k about Trump."

As the video continued, Freedom's ire was piqued by tangents on Barack Obama, vaccines, Trump's ongoing crackdown on immigration, and other hot-button political topics. He even took aim at his critics, saying, "You can't cancel me." The rapper's agent, it seems, had not prepared him for the fallout from agreeing to perform at a Trump-backed event.

While Freedom Williams may not be particularly bothered by Trump or his family, he does seem concerned about the impact that performing at the Freedom 250 concert might have on his reputation. "I don't give a f--k about you either," he growled, addressing those who would seek to judge him for his decision.

It's worth noting that not everyone has been so cavalier in their approach. Country legend Martina McBride announced that she would be dropping out of the concert altogether, citing concerns over the event's political undertones. Similarly, rapper Young MC and singer-songwriter Morris Day both pulled out of the show, with Young MC stating that he was never informed about any political involvement with the event.

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, it seems that the world is still grappling with what it means to be American. Will Freedom Williams's decision to perform at the Freedom 250 concert further divide the country, or will his apathy towards Trump and his family simply be seen as a shrugging acceptance of the status quo? Only time – and perhaps another seven-minute rant from the toilet seat – will tell."
