Dude, You'll Love It! CU Hawai‘i Store is Now Open at Pagoda Hotel!

Honolulu's Pagoda Hotel Just Got a Whole Lot Cooler!

You know what they say: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But when life gives you a 648-square-foot retail space at the recently refreshed Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu, bring in CU Hawai‘i, dude! That's exactly what happened, and we couldn't be more stoked.

CU Hawai‘i, the Korean convenience store with a whole lot of awesome stuff going on, has just opened its newest location inside the Pagoda Hotel. And let us tell you, it's not your average hotel convenience store. Oh no, this place is like a mini-mart extravaganza! You'll find fresh grab-and-go items, customizable beverages (hello, coffee and smoothie lovers!), a ramen bar with various Korean instant ramen offerings (because, why not?), travel and wellness necessities, and a range of Korean and local products.

According to an announcement Monday, CU Hawai‘i's goal is to bring in something that would be useful for hotel guests and the surrounding community. And dude, they nailed it! Chue Yang, general manager of Pagoda Hotel, had this to say: "When we started looking at the retail space, we really wanted to bring in something that would be useful not only for our hotel guests, but also for the people who live and work in the neighborhood." CU was a great fit because it offers so much more than a traditional hotel convenience store. You can grab a quick meal, snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials, and having that right on property is a great amenity for our guests.

CU Hawai‘i at Pagoda will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, which means you'll have plenty of opportunities to score some excellent convenience store goods. And did we mention that this follows a new, property-wide refresh that was unveiled at the Pagoda this spring? Yeah, it's been a busy time for the hotel!

As part of the larger transformation happening at Pagoda, CU is just one of many additions. Robert Kurisu, CEO of CU Hawai‘i, had this to say: "In addition to expanding our guest offerings and delivering on our commitment to ensuring the highest levels of service, we’re thrilled to introduce this thoughtful, delightful neighborhood staple to the people working, living and visiting the midtown Honolulu area." It's all about bringing in something that will serve both hotel guests and the surrounding community.

But wait, there's more! Paris Baguette, a bakery and cafe that originated in South Korea, is slated to open in 2027. And Rainbow Drive-In, which is set to takeover the Pagoda's iconic floating restaurant, is targeted to debut later this fall. So, there's plenty of excitement brewing at the Pagoda!

In conclusion, CU Hawai‘i has officially opened its newest location inside the Pagoda Hotel, and we couldn't be more excited! It's like a mini-mart paradise in the heart of Honolulu. And with all the other awesome additions happening at the hotel, you know that this is going to be one heck of a ride!
