Vance Got Schooled! Lammy Unleashes Fury on Phone

Britain's deputy prime minister, David Lammy, was not having it when U.S. Vice President JD Vance blamed immigration for the tragic death of a university student who was stabbed to death while handcuffed and left dying on the street. In a "robust" phone call on Saturday, Lammy told Vance he was wrong, wrong, WRONG!

"It's just not true," Lammy said in an interview with Sky News. "We had an agreeable conversation because we have got a relationship, but I wanted to make him clear that I disagree with some of the facts that he was asserting and to present the facts to him."

For those who may not be familiar, Vance's remarks were made on social media platform X in response to the brutal murder of Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old student who died after being stabbed by Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old man with a prior conviction for violence. Digwa, who is Sikh, falsely claimed to police that he was the victim of a racist assault by Nowak, who was white.

But Lammy wasn't having it. He knew that the facts just didn't add up. "This has got nothing to do with mass migration," he said firmly. "The killer was British and is now behind bars."

Digwa's conviction for murder came after a thorough investigation by the authorities, and his sentence was a minimum of 21 years in prison.

The case has sparked outrage and debate on both sides of the Atlantic, with some blaming immigration and others saying it's just another example of senseless violence. But Lammy is adamant that the truth must be told. "It's not helpful to tweet in this way, partly because of what the Nowak family have asked for, and reminded him about their desire not to make this an issue of division and hatred, but to make this an issue of common sense."

In a statement issued by Prime Minister Keir Starmer's office, it was noted that "people trying to interfere in our democracy and seeking to stir up division on our streets" should be condemned. The Independent Office for Police Conduct is also investigating the actions of police officers on the scene.

The victim's father, Mark Nowak, has spoken out about his desire to ensure that his son's death does not lead to further division and hatred, but rather serves as a wake-up call for people to work together to create safer streets.

So there you have it - the facts are clear. It's time to stop blaming immigration for every problem under the sun and start working towards a more just and equitable society for all.
